The Shiv Sena has said there was no pressure politics by the Congress after Sonia Gandhi wrote a letter to Uddhav Thackeray seeking welfare measures for dalits and tribals in Maharashtra. The letter move is significant as perhaps it is the first time that Sonia has written to Uddhav Thackeray since the formation of the MVA government.
