The Lok Sabha on Monday witnessed an intense debate on the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill after it was tabled by Union home minister Amit Shah. The opposition parties vehemently objected to the contentious bill alleging that the Bill defines the subject of nationhood on communal lines. Shah said the Bill "..is not even .001% against minorities in the country."
