Pakistan violated ceasefire in Mendhar sector of Poonch district on Sunday. Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation at about 2230 hours by firing of small arms and intense shelling with mortars in Balakote, Mendhar. The Indian Army retaliated befittingly.
