Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has tweaked a parliamentary procedure which has pleased the opposition MPs. After every debate, the minister concerned gives his reply. Earlier, the opposition MPs would keep interrupting the ministers to seek clarifications. The house would witness pandemonium. But Birla has changed the procedure. He has allowed the MPs to seek clarifications from the ministers after their reply. This has satisfied the MPs and led to smooth conduct of business.
